but some great .coms e.g. commodities.com

yesterday

I submitted traffic.co.uk thinking it might be a good place to sell it at T.R.A.F.F.I.C and they turned it down:roll:

What are these people on, realestatelawyers.co.uk:confused:

I wouldn't even reg the last 4 in the list.

They turned down traffic.co.uk? haha perhaps they didn't want .co.uks out performing dot comas haha (spelling mistake, what do you mean?)

I'm afraid I've got my own views of Moniker and county code tld auctions.

Lets just say I'll not be partaking again.

The UK's are worth more than that. I don't think US buyers have quite cottoned on yet, but then again only 2% of them have ever been outside of their own country, and a fair few couldn't point to Europe on a map.

This is the bit that made me laugh:

"Unfortunately, the domains were not good enough"

The other one I submitted was antispyware.co.uk the .com version sold for $550,000 a few moths back :)

They seem to be pretty clueless to me, not just regarding .co.uk. I lost all confidence in them when, in the adult auction, they set all my reserve prices to my bid increments by mistake so I had stuff like freeporn.co.uk going to auction with a reserve of $500. Luckily I spotted it before they went to auction!!

Very much agree :)

I was not overly impressed with the recent behaviour of TRAFFIC's chief architect over his spat with the Domain Jam people either.
