most Accurate way to appraise a .com domain

I have a .com domain i may be selling, i know about the prices of co.uk domains but where it comes to valuing a .com INDEPENDENTLY i am unsure of the best method.

does anyone know the best way to get an independent valuation of a .com that is on the mark?

I think Moniker provide valuations for tax purposes that are acceptable by the IRS as being reasonably accurate. Not sure how that fits in with real market values though.
