Hi I just reged MostWatched.co.uk - thought it sounded a dood name... anyone have an opinion/guess on the value, if any :D

Thank you.

Not sure of unregged value, but worth more if you hooked into the eBay API to find out which products were being watched by most people (if that's exposed by the API, that is!). Group your site by the main categories and then list any auctions that matcha search criteria, order by most watched.

Most Watched = popular (sometimes!).

Have some RSS feeds so people can put a search term in so if anything that matches has greater than X watchers, it appears on their feed/auto email.

eBay has a pretty good affiliate scheme whereby you get a %age of transaction.

I quite like that idea in fact :-)

:) That was the idea I was thinking of when I thought of checking the names availability, but I wouldn't know how to develop something like that, could buy a script like 'Build A Niche Store' or something like that.

Thanks!

Thanks for all that info guys. I have bought a script from someone and uploaded it to the site: www.MostWatched.co.uk

Any comments/suggestions? Also, developed like this do you think it would be worth anything?

Thanks again!

yup nice. Just one thing - i would have a pair of flags at the top: one USA and one UK, so that the the user could switch between UK and USA ebay.

Steve

Thanks. I would like it to just be eBay UK auctions.

Im trying to find out how to change it to UK auctions only... have posted a request for help/advice in the services required section of this forum.

Thanks again,
Damien.

Thanks for that. I got the site code changed but it wont show £ signs just a ? in place of that. Any suggestions?

Thanks.
