Hi Dragons my name is Graeme and I'd like to help you invest in my name regfee.co.uk because it will actually save you money on the crap you are paying for at the moment. Yep it makes nothing but the point is you'll only lose £6. :-D:-D
They'd be better building one from scratch without the debt.
I tried to sign up to the recipes and the site is broken!
"This is the page we never wanted to put up
It is our fall back as so many people have visited the site. In order to access over 4000 recipes including recipes from the Dragons please leave your email address and we will contact you as soon as we are up and running again."
What I don't understand is how it costs 22,000 a month to run a free forum site and a recipes site with social networking script...
With figures like that, perhaps we've all been charging the wrong amounts?
I wondered that as well. You'd be hard pressed to spend £22K per month on a website like that unless you were heating the building with a furnace that burns £20 notes.

I thought he was a doughnut too after seeing his ad, wondering why a man of his wealth would do such a thing, then I considered he may well be an investor/shareholder in moneysupermarket or whichever one it was.
Can't see him doing ads for a fee, surely must be promoting his own investment. Or he is just plain greedy.
Technically as the staff are paid someone is making money…? And as digging a hole in the ground and putting money in it to burn would cost more the investors are also saving,,,
Think there business plan comes from R.H. Donnelley publishers of Yellow Pages how long before bankrupcy
I saw the program a while back, and one of the dragons pointed out that similiar software could be bought "off the shelf" for next to nothing. I think it was Peter Jones. Why pay so much for software development if a solution already exists? Crazy! That site can easily be replicated by a schoolkid with a few hundred dollars.
I was seriously thinking about regging catsa*se.co.uk after watching an episode with Meaden. Check out Urban Dictionary Urban Dictionary: Cats Arse if you are not sure
The £600k setup costs are a joke. You could build the basics in a month for under £10k with many of the frills.
The whole point of an Internet business is that except for big scale stuff (like search engines, webmail, video sharing etc.), the start-up costs should be LOW. The returns can be very, very high, of course, but that's negated if you've already blown 600k on the development.
