I've sold a couple of domains and contacted the buyer about transferring them. When I've transferred a domain in the past I've just gone to my domain list and clicked on the domain that I want to transfer and entered their email and gone that route.

This time the buyers said they use 123reg and asked me to arrange the transfer but I'm not sure exactly how to go about it, or the best way to go about it. I'm on a self managed tag and need some advice please.

Thanks.

Are they wanting a free transfer then?

You need their information for the whois, name, address, email, all that

Login to nominet, web domain manager, manage domains, select the ones you want to transfer, then click "transfer" tab near the top

Enter the new registrants details they gave you and complete that

Then select the domains again and "release" enter 123's tag and you're done but they will need to add the domain(s) to their 123 account

Hello Murray, thanks for the quick reply. No they didn't ask for a free transfer but I just wanted to go about it the best way which wasn't going to cost them money. Thanks, this should make it nice and easy.
