need help

My admin has the option to chose import format from a drop down which auto selected csv when i browsed to the csv file does the sql box remain when you browse the csv.

yea it does, im just talk to the support team of my hosting and they say i have max permissions on there servers already, which isnt the same as your byt the looks of it, manage to get the data in there but had to create the table first, but it didnt replace the header which isnt great

The London csv file is about 3mb so you shouldn't have issues alternatively you could use something like this and copy and paste the info into the sql box via sql tab.
This assumes the table already exists with columns matching the data you want to upload.

its ok im one step closer now, i now have the data in a table!! i just had to create the table first the import the data on its own, without the header.

Now....to display the data!! lol

Just another thing to think of... You clearly are learning on the job, make sure you read up on SQL Injection otherwise your site is going to be open to hackers.

one more thing and thanks for you help, is there a way either in the csv file or something of mass changing inserting the partner id, or do i have to enter that one by one?, this is for like the url link

beat me to it or find and replace in excel for your csv

yea I have tired that, this is what i meant mine doesnt have the same options as yours did,


this is the problem im having im not trying to make it harder than it is

If your running an old version of phpmyadmin you can download and install a latter version yourself

its ok guys thanks im am up and running on my mk site under test.php all works fine, thank you very much for your help, i have learnt today, but have to change the partner id now
