Hmmm, a suitcase that contains active electronics sending out a wireless signal. Can't imagine that appearing at the other end!

Hardly new. I have outdoor lights that activate and cameras that let me speak to visitors.

110V only at present. US & Canada focus only, again at present. You can speak to them but is their a microphone allowing the "intruder" to speak back to you?

"The app that helps you find your Kisha umbrella" - this has got to be a joke, surely? What is it with trying to stuff tech in every product these days!!!

I can't even tell whether that is real, or just an unfunny joke.

Assuming it is real, surely you'd just be better off losing a £10 umbrella every now and then?

Murray should be along to correct you shortly ("losing"). In respect of an umbrella gadget, it could be insured with something like myEssentials gadget insurance from AMEX along with all other devices one had with oneself. How regularly do you lose your coat, your bag or your mobile phone? Is it on a regular basis? I've broken umbrellas but I am not sure I've ever lost one. Different strokes for different folks though.
