Nominet strategy meeting?

Please could someone tell me who these "key members" are?

What is being discussed the day before an election is due to be called?

only a newbie regards nominet, but after doing a bit of digging online, it seems that the key members are heavily involved in Internet related businesses, as you would imagine being nominet key members etc

Looking at some of their own and related businesses the group has some voting power regarding the election you mentioned.

I love everyone at nominet, they have all been so helpful to me, but I dont know how the executive side works, and if I am right, it looks like one of the key members is also up for election, so a great opportunity for them to network and expose themselves to other voting members, but one I would have not invited due to the election being so close, or am I just cynical? I suppose they may vote him in so the likes of 123-reg lose even more customers while he moots nominet stuff I would prefer to see people who love the internet and want to make the UK domain valued, who dont have huge workloads from their current position, rather than some web company CEO from a company I cant avoid seeing complaints about.

My partner has seen you around for years, hence my vote going to you, but I have heard several others say they are voting for you too, just hope you know people with more votes than the people at that meeting the other day or you have no chance lol Unless of course you still have your old school tie and a team of pa's to rally the troups.

There is only me and at my old school we didn't have ties...

However i'm doing my best to rally the troups (like yourself) and hopefully people will vote for me!
