I know this will probably annoy some people but 'Spit out the bone' is *the* best Metallica song ever written. I've seen them 13 times live and love their other stuff but really this is tops :p Let the 'Master' fighting begin :)

Way too commercial imho, Metallica in general... I preffer RATM or Korn.

Just gave it a listen, probably the best song they've released since '91! I like it. But it's no Harvester of Sorrow.

Just gave it a listen, wow, was much too heavy for my liking, headache inducing

Prefer something a bit more melodic myself

    A real classic:

I first heard it on a flight from Riyadh > Dubai > Schiphol in 1977. It was a brand new Qantas 747 and for some reason, I was the only passenger (delivery/test leg or something). I'll never forget the old 'stethoscope' headsets :)

Landed at Schiphol and I went straight to buy the LP. Shame the other tracks were crap

Love Iron Maiden - saw them in 88 I think it was. Always been great even with Paul Di'anno.

Slash and the November rain solos were the main reason I learned to play guitar

I used to work for Maiden when I was kid :)

Was in the local chippy last week and cemetery gates was on the radio, can't believe how Pantera was soo much better then everyone else in that genre. Saw them back in 94? before he got shot :(
