Older people in the UK seem to have a better grasp of internet terms than younger generations according to new research.

The latest figures suggest 72% of over 55s are familiar with buzzwords such as ‘Wifi’, ‘router’, ‘cursor’ and ‘bandwidth’, compared to only 61% of 16 to 24 year olds

Getting to grips with the web has many benefits for older people, from making it easier to keep in touch with friends and family to saving money through online shopping deals.
