.org.uk or dash .co.uk

My chosen domain is unavailable as a .co.uk.
keyword1keyword2.org.uk and keyword1-keyword2.co.uk are both available.

Which do you think is best from a user's point of view (ie ...what was that domain name again?!) and from search engine's POV?

I would say from experinece that .org.uk's rank very well in google...but thinking is the dashed .co.uk better in the long run?

Imo..

The hypen won't rank that well for SE's but from a business point of view I would buy both. This would give the business two opportunities to be clicked on, in fact the more names pointing towards your company the better - the more chances your traffic will be increased.

From a reseller point of view, if the name is that good...again..buy both, if not then its purely a decision on whether you think org.uk can be worth as much. I would say get the org.uk as someone already has the co.uk name without a hypen, which would de-value your version as they are more likely to get the type in traffic than you are.
