Hi Guys,

Not too sure if any would oblige to help on this question with trade secrets etc however I want to setup my own parking pages for my domain's to possibly trigger an sale enquiry.

I did start off doing a simple html / javascript contact for each domain but obviously with hundreds of domain's is seems stupid to do one for each with tags and branding.

I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction. A mate did mention wordpress multi site as some point but this was for another project.

All I really could do with is a contact from to forward an email or have a telephone number slap bang on the page.

I understand I could have a main business page but the lengthy time to establish it would be too much and quite a few of my domain's have traffic.

You could get webhosting that allows you to park domains on top of a main one. That way the domain visited would show in the url bar but the page for every domain would be the same as your main domain.
From there you could go further with php - ie find out which domain was used to access the page and store visit info in a database to establish which domain is the one receiving that traffic.

I thought the same but was more worried about making it all personalized to the name. I guess the more effort you put in the better the results. :)

I guess I could just add a field for the user to mention the domain inquiring about and also make a perl / php script to automate the parked domain's too. :)

Well there's no reason why the page can't get the domain and then read relevant information out of a database to display. Using this system all you'd need to do is park the page and update a database containing all relevant information you want displayed in the html.

Are they domain names that already get type-in traffic? If not then from experience, parking pages (your own or a registrar) are not going to generate enquiries anyway. I think a single page on a wordpress blog with some unique content related to your domain keywords is the way to go if your domain names are of real value. For low value domain names however I would not think it would be worth the effort in setting up a your own pages for.

I have the script seen on http://constructiondata.co.uk/ that I used to use.

All you do is enter the domain and price into two fields in the index.php before uploading and the data is the used throughout the site and added to the email you receive.

Let me know if you would like a copy, very reasonable price.
