1) When i park a domain at sedo do i have to provide any content (webpages)?

2) is parking an a affiliate program?

3) if not whats the difference?

4) does a affiliate program need content?

Noticed no replies so here's a few of my quick answers:

By no means comprehensive... Plenty more could be said...

1) No...
2) CTR Program .... You get paid on click throughs....
3) One provides multiple adverts via an advertising aggregator, the other provides adverts usually from one source...
4) Not always, BUT they usually provide it for you...


Sure others will fill you in more...

does that mean i can just buy a domain name and then apply to tradedoubler, with no content? Do i need to tell them that there is no content?

Tradedubler as a network will represent many merchants.

Some of those merchants will be selective, and unless it's a fantastic domain name, won't look at you (don't worry too much we're all ugly in our own ways!), whereas other merchants may not even look at you and still offer their services, a sort of merchant brothel as it were where the merchants offer themselves in different positions.

Best sign up to Tradedoubler on an existing site and then sign up to individual merchants with your respective domains.

Some merchants offer bespoke landing pages, whilst others just offer banners and links.

It's an attractive hotel but you may never leave . . .
