Pizza Affiliate

I set up a website to help me learn how different affiliates work.

It was just a bit of fun really.

www.homemadepizza.co.uk

It's now getting 50ish hits a week and I was wondering if any of you guys had any ideas of what I could do with the site.

I don't think there's a lot of people spending money online at pizza sites but I have had a few sales through amazon with it.

I think the pizza site isn't worth spending more time on and I should chose a better paying affiliate topic.

Any thoughts.

It's a cool site, but I think you're right that there isn't a lot of money in the topic.

Definitely put your efforts into a site with a more profitable theme, because clearly you know how to build a nice site

Pizza Home delivery from a National firm??

I've set up two new sites

one aimed at loft conversions

www.diyloftconversion.co.uk

and one aimed at cosmetic surgery.

www.cosmeticstudio.co.uk

I've used a metatag analyser and achieved 100% on the title, content and description tags

and I've checked the html of both sites using the html validator

I've then used google webmaster tool to verify the sites although google tells me they haven't been indexed yet.

I've added them to the local gumtree and had a few click throughs from there.

I'm now busy looking at key words using

http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/

And will be adding to the sites in the future.

Any other tips/tricks to gain some clicks?

I'd like some kind of loan calculator affiliate on the site.

Well everything was working fine and validating but now that i've added some amazon links to the cosmetic page I've ended up with loads of errors in amazon code.

Is there a quick way around this?

Just-Eat.co.uk (takeaway delivery aggregator) has an affiliate program on Affiliate Future. Should be just what you're looking for.

Hey

I really like the pizza site - makes me hungry!! Think I might try your Pizza recipe for dinner!!!

I have also just set up a small website http://www.easyhomenetworking.co.uk to try some affiliates - at the moment I have set Google up... But am also thinking about an Amazon one also (thought there maybe some click through regarding computer books etc?!)
