Worked for me, though weirdly I had to go through the password challenge twice as it didn't accept my first attempt (I'm 99% sure I typed it right - it's only 3 characters, and I was in "testing mode" after seeing this thread)

Happened to me a few days ago, not accepting my login I've used for years, password reset email never came through either (tried twice). Had to email Nominet support in the end who manually sent me a password reset email, which worked fine.
