Ranking- anyone help???

Hi all

Can any one help me to get my site on google and other search engines. I've tried manually putting the keywords in, and also one of these auto submitting sites.

my site is

I checked using a
http://www.mikes-marketing-tools.com/ranking-reports/

So it doesnt seem to have been listed.


Any help would be appreciated.

Forget submitting your site, I haven't done that for about 5 years. You need to get some other sites to link to you, preferably one way links rather than reciprocal as they are about 100 times more powerful. Then with in days you will be in and stay in.

Also ditch the splash page and get rid of the frames pages or you won't even rank once you do get in.

Finally Google already know you exist http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=www.webmasters4u.com&btnG=Google+Search&meta= they just haven't indexed your content yet because you have none on your home page(splash page) and/or you have no back links.

Make sure your home page has some content, this will be your most powerful page and you are wasting it with do you want to enter. Can you imagine going into a shop and before they let you look at anything, you're greeted and asked if you really do want to come in, are you sure sir do you really want to come in, oh and do you have the right pair of glasses on to look at our stock, oh okay you can look now then

One way links

Paul - you seem to know what you talking about.

When you set up your sites how did you get one way links?

Do you or can you buy them?

I know bloging produces one way links but the contents is not relevant. My site is about betting, strategies etc. So, should i really remove my link in this blog and start blogging on sites related to betting. I assum this would increae the importance of the links

Will,

There's no harm in keeping the link on the blog of unrelated content. A link on another website (related or not) can not harm your search engine position. May not make a huge amount of difference at times but can not harm.

Ideally yes links on updated respected blogs of similar content can help and boost you up. Paid links are good in context but try not to be tempted in a large (2,000 +) links in one go - search engines become suspicious.

As long as the bulk of your back links are from relevant sites then having non related links is fine and will still aid you somewhat in the organic listings.

i can get you listed within 2 weeks and listed over 300 to 400 times in 60 days across the board with page rank within normally 90 days, listed on yahoo, hundreds of time, and live/msn plus quite a few other of the smaller portals, the cost isn't that much considering what all the work i do but i do offer if after 90 days you don't get the desired results or rather what i said i would do your funds are refunded, to set it up generally takes me about a full day, i require half to begin and the balance when finished, pm me or email or icq me if interested.
