PROPERTY.......... ISLE OF BARRA
an island where you can leave door unlocked and go fishing quite safe and secure,and where children of all ages can play in complete safety.

how do you get an internet connection there?,it looks amazing and if i was you i would rent it has a holiday home and earn a fortune,it is the wrong time to sell property but if your health is poor then i hope you get a great price for it because it looks idealic.

Broadband wise I reckon it would be satellite broadband only ...

! internet...it is only in atlantic [ with massive gas fields offshore found in surveys 1970/80's]
bt telephones work ok,so does broadband. 1 hour to fly to glasgow [if elastic band holds out and if pilot judges tide and staff chase stray cows]
ferry is 5 hours from oban,so any crooks give up trying to come here, also locals very honest,my wife left her purse on a shop counter,just noticed when she arrived home,I wanted to phone shop, but as my wife belongs island her attitude was i'll pick it up next time I go to shop as it will be safe....and it was. locals think nothing of stopping to give lifts in bad weather its a different 'mindset' to mainland. only trouble is with health,flights and taxi free to hospital, but very tiring having to make repeated visits and if you opt to stay on mainland it becomes expensive.....but if in good health what a great [ but sometimes hard ] lifestyle, very hard going back to mainland to live, main road is circle, so when you leave pub it can be 1/2 hour or 5 hours to get home!.
ps turned down many offers to rent,too many problems.
