Site seemed to work ok for me, what CMS is that? Also, in the logo at the top, you say "You're Wirral, You're Business". Should that not be "Your Wirral, Your Business"...?
Otherwise seems fine.
Edit - I just realised its Joomla, I wondered why it was so code heavy, thats why I asked.
Thanks, I'll get that changed, the site was made for us by a web company, our idea is to have more UK sites like this, with name's such as IpswichBusiness and Norwichbusiness.com

We're very big on Twitter, as am I, without sounding my own trumpet, @steverichardsuk
We think Wirral's bigger around 400k, and we have Liverpool and Chester in between us, plus 4£ billion investment due to arrive via peel holdings, it's the place to be!
You have around 8K followers, and the site around 2K. Yours appear to be the SEO/Make Money Online/SME type that love Twitter, so that doesn't explain a million pv's pm for a directory site for Wirral, it's not in their interest. Your site showed 200 viewers online at 6am. Yet you have only 85 reviews on the site. Your 1200 listed businesses seem to have had up to 700 views since formation, let's say an average of 400 each (being generous), that's less than 500K page views since last June, a lot less than 1 million per month.
Could you show us the traffic source for your site over the last month from Google Analytics? I'm sure a few geodomain developers here (including myself) could learn from it.

Sincere good luck with this project.
I would be interested to hear how much was spent in developing the site and if this money could have been better invested in a geo domain name ?
( wirral. co uk is for sale, though it may be going up in price as we type )
This is an investigative question and not a criticism.
observation: some big competition in wirralglobe co uk and wirralnews co uk ( they own wirral.com )
