Must admit, this is one area it makes sense to pay a bit over odds on the .uks as this sort of thing is very British and British terms really.

this fabulous news for me!!! the reason being that the gentleman concerned tried to buy a name from me on sedo. They put in a low bid but I had no idea it was a company, then i upped the price (doubled it just thought i'd take a chance)... then guess what! I get a nasty email threatening me that I had to hand over the domain name and if i didn't accpet their offe within two days the offer would halve... then i d didn't accpet the halved offer by the next two days they would start legal proceedings! Talk about a spoilt bratt! sulking because he couldn't get my doamin name.
Great news for me - this proves they are buying domains, any letting opr renting domainers beware of these people!!

I know you are a new member - however, how about we don't get into this on the forum. I am still wating for my solicitors letter that you threatened me with. If you want the domain you will have to buy it unfortunately... thats pretty much how it goes.
I would also appreciate it if you didn't use my first name on the forum ; )
If you want to PM me for my best price on the two that you want to buy feel free - however the fact that you have been on a spending spree for domains illustrates that you simply want the domain, but went about it in the wrong way i'm afraid!

relates to the following domains names:
StudentSpareroom (.co.uk) and UniSpareroom.co.uk
...although I was only asked for one of them, not both...which essentially means this individual just wanted one of the domains names and not the other - this goes against the principal of wanting all domains that contacin the genric term 'spare room' as he only wanted one...

interesting... $28k for a not very good generic? wonder how much some single word natural generics on the subject would be worth to the buyers
