loads of people are saying that they are making an RT Tablet so think it is a little more generic than you think.

I think it started as an operating system like XP but now load of people do laptops and tablets that have XP on.

RT has new technology for battery life and processes built in but think it is going to be the new standard in tablets.

At the moment you can have an iPad with Apple on or a 7-10 tablet with Android on. This is Microsoft's offerings to the party and they have put loads of new technologies into it.

Should be good for everyone, a little more competition never hurt anyone..

With the announcement from Microsoft that they are creating there very own RT tablet as well as Dell, Hewlett-Packard and Lenovo the enquiries are now coming in thick and fast.

It is a Microsoft thing. It's a version of Microsoft Windows 8 specifically for devices running on ARM architecture.

Yes ASUS make RT tablets but Samsung make Android phones - That doesn't give free reign to use the name wherever.
