Screensaver.com

Nice, interested to know how you acquired that domain, or was it someone elses auction?

I don't think screensavers are in much use now.

No. But the same was true in 2010.

If I were buying, or selling those names, I would value them equally. The first sale was in the aftermath of the financial crisis. It could possibly have been two or three times that price in 2005. Who knows?

At first glance $25k looks cheap, but maybe $335k was expensive? Who here ever paid for a screensaver?
Or maybe both prices just reflect where the market is at the time?

It's one of those domains where the plural is way more desirable than the singular (even without taking the difference in sale price into account - you can tell just by looking at them). So it's not that surprising. There are other domains where the opposite is true, and some where both probably have roughly equal value (but may address a slightly different market)

Anyway, great sale - congrats!

Thanks guys. It was simply a quick flip - one I'm quite pleased with. It is the type of domain that, IMO, is getting less valuable with each passing year. Still has solid SV however.
