OK, so help me - any suggestions to revitalise the site? (apart from more moderation).

Admin

Tricky, as the market for flipping domains has fallen I feel most members who mainly did this have moved on to other businesses, started simply developing one site etc and so unless it moved in a direction for general business wise I'm not sure what I'd advise, sorry not very helpful of me :)

I agree a lot of people have moved on so it's not just down to the forum itself, I have seen many members trying to sell up and get out.

I had thought about doing more in the Affiliate marketing forums, trying to make more from the domains we still own. Seems some people are still able to make good money from Blogging too.

Similar to Max, I'm not sure what the answer is here sorry, the appetite for UK domains has reduced somewhat as has the way individuals operate which makes running a forum a much harder task that it use to be. Maybe look to see what other domain forums do so well, but I have little experience of those.

Admin, I don't envy your task, but would it be worth reaching out to popular/knowledgeable ex-members (or contribute less anyway) such as Edwin, Sean, Dale etc to see what has changed and what could be improved to gain quality back? Unfortunately like many business forums, they become playgrounds for trolls and "get rich quick" enthusiasts...just look at the ukbusinessforums etc

*BREAKING NEWS*

DM just received from Accelerator :

"I'd like to give you an opportunity to remove this offensive comment:

"Accelerator you are a stupid fucking twat who hasn't a clue when people are making personal attacks or not, and you don't take take criticism or advice EVEN when you ask for it directly"

Before I have to ask Admin to remove it.

Thanks"

I don't see it as offensive, I see it as constructive criticism; if you choose to see it as offensive that is your issue not mine :D

I have just edited my original post in respect of Admin and NOT due to Accelerators request to do so; I still stand by my comments I said, but also Admin is just collateral damage in all this, so it is unfair for him to be dragged into it.

Another DM received from Accelerator after I posted the above comment :

"Yes, of course I see it as offensive, so I'll give you one more opportunity to remove it and any other places where you have quoted it. Otherwise, I will have to take further action, which will mean having to report you again for the moderators to assess your comments. I am giving you a chance here."

Thanks for the chance, but why would I do something I don't agree with? My opinion is 100% correct; as it is MY opinion.

Don't forget to remove it from post 527575 in this thread where you've quoted it.

I am asking for totally offensive and uncalled for comments to be removed. Really, they should have not been allowed in the first place.

This is the real world not primary school, so if a few swear words offend you to the point where you are having a virtual meltdown in front of everyone, may I suggest you have your internet disconnected and find a wall to bang your head against instead.

I've removed the pictures, like everyone says I need to make this place more professional again but I can't do that alone......

I only used pictures as I have found from experience that people who cannot understand text, find it easier to look at pictures instead, but I understand why you have removed them.
