I didn't realize that if you search on google to see where your website appears on google adwords then google learns which sites you're not interested in and starts to feed you different results than others are seeing i.e. you're not actually seeing the ads others will be seeing especially as you'll never click on your own ad. i.e. your ad may look likes it's disappeared but will still be appearing for the rest of the world to see.
Above tool lets you see the actual listings others see without affecting your ranking.
