Selling my first domain

Hi all

I have a few domain names registered for projects which never came to fluition and am now looking to sell some of them I have registered them all on sedo and a few are making a few £ on their ppc. I have had an offer for one of my domain names off of sedo but the buy requires an independent appraisal and has also showed interest in a few other of my domains.

Being new to this game i wondered if someone could give me a brief introduction into selling domains what to look for and the normal process of business so that i dont get caught out.

Is it the seller or the buys responsibility to get an appraisal? also how much should these cost.
