I'm setting up a WP site and have no clue when it comes to seo. I have installed all in one seo and have a query on post url's

currently my post are coming up as abc.co.uk/how-to-ride-a-bike as an example

is that ok from an seo point of view?

That's fine.

If you are building a large site you may want to add in a category, I think this is called siloing, it would go something like:

abc.co.uk/motorbikes/how-to-ride-a-bike
abc.co.uk/cars/how-to-pass-your-driving-test
abc.co.uk/hgv/how-to-get your commercial licence

If you want to do it this way go to permalinks, check custom and add /%category%/%postname%/ that will add the category to the url.

That way you start to build up related content in 'separate' sections, but for a smaller site what you are doing is cool.
