Silver surfers are driving broadband take –up

A report from regulator Ofcom has revealed that the number of broadband connections in Britain has risen among the over 65s in the last year. Findings suggest the generational divide in attitudes towards technology is narrowing more rapidly, with 50% of 65-74-year olds and 29% of over 75 year olds now having access to a computer at home.
