Small End User Sales - Past week

Started buying & selling .CO.UK domains last week. A few small sales since then, over the past few days mainly (all were hand regs over the past week):

HotelInternetMarketing.co.uk - £250

BusinessVoipSystems.co.uk - £250

SHOUTcastHosting.co.uk - £150

ShropshireWebDesign.co.uk - £250

PLCSystems.co.uk - £200

Not mega sales, but they all add up. Just doing this for fun really (& testing) as I'm mainly a .COM/.NET/.ORG investor.

I have one sale going though Escrow today for mid £XXX and one waiting for a Bank Transfer for £X,XXX so buyers are still out there if you look for them.

I have made a big attempt this week to clear out all the domains I will not be developing before the news about .uk becomes common place and sales dry up.

I pick domain names that are taken in at least 1-2 extensions, directly related to actual products or services, with a min. search volume of 5/month (in U.K.) and then GOOGLE the exact term (domain's) and fire out a min. of 50 emails/domain.

I would say that for every twenty emails sent I get a sale

Cheated this week as I looked in the database of emails that had made offers in the past went back with a reasonable fixed price for a quick sale.

Tends to work qute well. Always go back after about a month and give them a fixed all inclusive quote at 35-65% of original.

Spot-on took 40% my original asking price buyer happy with a discount I'm happy to clear the decks.

Seriously well done on getting these sales. I have similar names and struggling to sell them at the moment. What message do you use in your emails exactly? I rarely even get a response.

5-8 per day. Sell 1-2 (but also receive replies at later periods that can also can sometimes generate into sales)

Good going for these tough times. I thought i would PM you and see what magic you are using to pull in these sales if that's ok. My emails either always seem to me to be too short or too full of waffle so would be interesting to compare.
