Okay so i've been riding 125cc scooters about all over Asia and they are lots of fun ... but power wise they are fun when your going from 0-40 but then its like 'ooo okay we'll take 20 seconds to do another 5mph!'

So when im back in the UK i want to possibly start to learn to ride a motorbike, i obv am used to auto scooters so no gears or anything.

Where do I start ?

Then we I do pass how long before I can get like a GSXR600 ? ive heard you can have them as first bikes but then they are pretty powerful

Any advice from any of you acorn lot who may be bikers?

Thanks
Max

I have a Hayabusa. Don't run before walking. No, you can't get a GSXR600 before you pass your test unless it's legally restricted. If you are good you can get a CBT and full licence over a weekend.

I did mine about 5 years ago and it took about 8 weeks from start to finish, doing a couple of hours each Sunday.

ROSPA is next. It's all about safety no matter what you ride.

Oh - that's those of those long-arsed swing arm jobbies that don't go around corners too lively :) The current stock Busa is 202 BHP, and in the UK is restricted - but not through the gears - only top whack. A great rider's bike but pulls my old arms off the bars if given too much wellie :(

My doctor friend calls Hayabusa riders organ donors :D

I ride a CBR 600 and love it :)

LOL - yes - organ donors indeed. But nothing like a good 600 for the twisties :)

I wish Aprilia still made the 250 two-stroke - I'd die for one of those.
