ok im sorry, i know im unpopular. But if you where starting up a website
how would you do it ?

Then come back and say what you want your website to do, then people might help :)
 
Mike, do that because if you make amends you will get more help from this and other forums than you ever imagined.

well i would do, but iv been banned from most of them!! anyway does anyone know any tips on setting up a website?
 
See forum sections below - this is the welcome forum - and post specific questions there. You are halfway there because you now know how NOT to promote a website :-D
 
Admin can set it up so that anyone signing up for new membership can't do so with the following email addresses:

*@mail.ru
*@hotmail.com
*@gmail.com
etc.

On a large board that I run, anybody registering from a free email address is put in group called ANONYMOUS MEMBER's and are very restricted (eg can't start topics) until they introduce themselves properly.
