INVESTOR.com - I was in a private backorder auction on Namejet around 6 months ago. It went twice for 8k+ USD and I'm guessing each time the winner didn't pay because the auction was restarted.

In the third auction the domain ended up selling for $2600 and because I couldn't get my account limit lifted (out of the country and dont have access to documents), Namejet wouldn't let me bid above $2500.

Correction - it was 6 weeks ago.

No idea why it went so cheap mate. Ofc I could've gotten into a bidding war with the other party and the price could've sky rocketed but the fact that he got it for that price made me grrrrr. £1500 or whatever for a premium one word .com. Sick.
