So I have my monthly bill to pay, and becuase it hit the credit limit earlier in the month, I added £300 over the phone. Now it wants me to pay the whole bill online and won't account for the £300 as a part-pay, I have to pay the full amount. And the phones are closed of course.

The paper invoice DOES take the £300 into account.

Grrrr!

and I have paid the full bill but now have £300 floating around as "unallocated funds". Madness.

Pay the invoices one by one on the secure Nominet account panel. You can choose smaller invoices to pay regardless of invoice date, and it will increase your available credit.

I only ever seem to have one invoice (none at the moment), but £300 floating around in the Nominet system. I'll get them to actually apply it to the bill next time, rather than printing that on the invoice but not actually doing it.
