Hi All,

I'm selling up and getting out of domaining but just wanted to asked on this one?

disdale dot co dot uk.

A recent drop, I've had interest from two parties.
Both professional end users but one builds luxury boats and aircraft.

Dont want to drag it out so I'm asking what do you think is a fair end user price?

Regards,

It's an uncommon surname so not much value to be honest. But if they are really interested you could try low £x,xxx and see what their reaction is. I'd be glad to just be receiving an offer on this one at all so it is more realistically low to mid £xxx IMO.

Youre right it isnt a common name and I was surprised to get an offer on it so quickly. So I was thinking low xxxx.

However when the second party showed an interest it was a case of what's a fair value to them?

If you add terence to the surname?

I was just wondering what those of you who have dealt with wealthy end-users thought?

Well my experience tells me you shouldn't always assume the value of a domain goes up just because the end user is perceived as wealthy. Wealthy people are often the most tight fisted (or just sensible with their money).

But it's best to just give him a price you will be happy with, perhaps price it higher expecting him to knock you down and if he accepts it without negotiating then great!

If you price it way too high there is a danger of him not taking you seriously and just walking away. Then again it might just be your lucky day. There is no set formulae so it's best to get a feel for each particular case.

Having two end users interested is very positive though, that's encouraging. Good luck!
