tempted by my first .biz

I have watch the .biz for some time but always put off by the price. today I found a two word name with 8 letters. I checked G and it gets exacts of 49,500 global and 14,800 local (i checked more than once).

I check and see that other sites with the extension are ranking well have high visits (I must say very good content). I can remember T3 when they were t3.biz but they have now .com.

I would like to know what has anyone's experience with this extention.

I must add that all the other TLD level extensions except for .me are taken and parked, which makes it more encouraging to buy and develop.

If it's at reg fee, you have little to lose. What region are the 14,800 local to?

Like Dale said, you're potential downside is but a few dollars.

I've probably had about 10 .biz in total - all hand reg's; sold 1 for $400 and dropped the rest. That said I reg'd one a week or so ago.

In my tests only the .com, .net, .org, .co.uk and .org.uk get the bonus in google.
