the .uk I want is taken

The 4 letter .co.uk domain I want is available but the .uk one is taken.. I plan on selling this on DL what should I do?

You don't need to own both the .uk and .co.uk to sell a domain on DomainLore - you can sell just one, and the auction will automatically note this.

I know but wouldn't I get a better chance at bidders if I have the rights? Its a LLLL and fits the spotlight auction

Fits the spotlight and is ftr? That's interesting. If the uk is not being used make an offer to the owner, if it is being used then just put the .co.uk on DL.

If it is free to register yet the .uk is taken, chances are it has dropped. In which case, I doubt it holds any value as someone (myself included) would have spotted it. There are a lot of LLLL domains available ftr, so unless it has some obvious meaning, it won't be considered worthy of 'spotlight'.

The fact that the .uk is taken is not an issue preventing you from offering the .co.uk for sale.

More of an issue is whether the .co.uk is good enough to sell.
