dont think i'd trust any of the ebay dealers - they seem to come with all the extra book / certs etc but lots of accounts on the net where they are fakes.
i should just save the extra money, buy a holiday to turkey etc and get a fake there for 30euros
:)

Just bought a Certina

Good quality for the price. Quartz (battery) and Automatic (mechanical) range.

Try to sight the watch before buying, as on-line and catalogue images don't reflect the actual product well. I'm guessing a lot of Photoshop is utilised ;)

Didn't look that far, apparently not :(

Local dealer here in NZ.
wont be a problem for you then! :)
i'd be pushed to get one without a dealer i could take it to, if it broke!

strange there arent more opinions on watches, on a car forum the same kind of thread went 38 pages. Have we sold or swap all our watched for domains??

Good watches are all in the "protected trade" fashion category. Dealers keep prices high, and becoming a dealer requires the old-fashioned inspection of premises, no discount on websites etc.

Now I've said that, it is possible to get a really good watch for £500. Go into a good class jewellers, pick something around £650, and HAGGLE.
