Hi guys,

Lets start by saying I know jack s*** about tradmark law. I am currently trading as "A-Wing Internet Services" and am looking to become ltd. in the next few months.
Now, according to Lego, Lucasarts holds a trademark on "A-Wing" but the only trademark I can find with that name expired in 1991.
So, my main question is: Does any trademark for an A-Wing Fighter affect me offering consultancy and programming services?

Apologies for sounding noobish on this subject.

You are in two different fields, you shouldn't have any trouble I don't think.

Having your company name as "A-Wing Internet Services" shouldn't trouble them at all

Alternatively, if you do get trouble, by changing your name to Mr. Wing... ;)

That is what I thought but I wanted to make sure.

I think my wife might have something to say about that, we had a hard enough time changing her name at the banks when we got married! :)
