A Domain I was looking to get has just been renewed but under a different owner.

When a Domain is suspended can you still buy it from the current owner?? the registered date hasn't changed so I'm guessing that the new owner bought it whilst it was suspended...

Is it also possible that someone could transfer a suspended domain into their own account and then renew it and change the ownership without anyone knowing?? Not that I'm saying this has happened just curious..

Regards,

I think the registrant can claw their domain back if they catch it suspended.

Theoretically Numbnuts should have tried to find them and remind them previously anyhow.

Regards,

The current registrant or tag holder can renew a domain name up until the time it is actually deleted by the Registry. So yes, suspended names can be renewed (but changing it / modifying it can only be done by the current registrant).
