Hi,
I'm quite new to this stuff, but willing to learn...
In the case of domain transfers from one registrar to another, does the losing registrar have any right to stop a transfer? I know about what's said on ICANN site, that the exeptions to the rule are mostly to do with official complaints from the owner of the domain.... that the transfer is illegal and doesnt have the consent of the owner...
I would not expect losing registrars to be totally willing to let a domain be transferred away from them, since they are going to lose revenue from you NOT renewing a domain with them, but transferring away instead....
Should I expect any email from both losing and gaining registrar concerning a transfer that is pending the approval of the losing registrar?
Should I expect ANY email from either side within a certain amount of time?
Is the time 5 days or could it be longer?
Anyone got experience with this using different registrars?
Thanks
