Hi All, simple question really. I have one transfer email for 3 domains. Now, I want each domain to go to a different registrant. Is that possible to do without having to pay the £12 again after the initial transfer?

Not afaik. The transfer either single or batch requests a transfer to a single new registrant or the account you are logged into.

Probably only way around this is if Nominet can wangle it for you.

I think that will cost someone or 3 people £36 in total. Please, do let us know if it's any cheaper in the end.

I called Nominet up and they confirmed it will be 3 x £12 and that there is no war round it.

Kate, assuming you're a TAG holder which I think you are , you can transfer them all onto your TAG and then release them to wherever you want for free using the automaton - it looks complicated but it isn't once you've got the hang of it.

If you're going to run into this issue a lot it may be worth taking the time to learn how to use it.

That just releases the domain to another tag, the Registrar can't change the Registrant.
