This was my travel company domain name for 6 years from 1995 and so was well-established with many reciprocal links and ranked high on searches. From 2001 until this year it was used as a forward address for dundonald-games.org.uk which also received a good number of hits.
Originally chosen because the Scottish Tourist Board used the very similar travelscotland.co.uk it got a lot of traffic from tourists looking for the STB. The tourist board later changed domain name, but travelscotland.co.uk is now a well-established tour site.
Cash-parked now with SEDO, travel-scotland.co.uk is making about 900 impressions a month, it is also listed for sale at sedo.co.uk
