.uk Confusion begins

Since Nominet sent the email and Fasthosts scaremongering i have had 3 emails already saying they are entitled to the .uk even though i caught or regged the .uk same time as .co.uk dropped as they own the .co.uk. When i explained the process they just say they will contact Nominet.

Nominet are going to be very busy now from what i am seeing.

They have their finest YTS members ready and waiting (between 11am and 1pm mon-fri). I've given up. They keep copy/pasting from the website without comprehending (or even probably reading) questions you send them. You get 'customer resolution advisor' types completely incapable of understanding a technical question giving you an unrelated answer. Hopefully after the drop these people will be sent back to the dole queue.
