I have been chatting with a number of other domain owners who deal in both UK and .com domains and the general feeling is that .co.uk domain sales have been declining in the last few weeks whereas .com domains are pretty stable.

Has anyone else been receiving less enquires / sales in the UK market and if so whats your concerns for the future.

thats total ballshit... don't let it put you off if your thinking of investing... :D

good domains are always good domains..

good domains are always good domains..

And good domains with fair prices always sell.

.UK seems solid, and if anything .com 'stable' could be due to the dollar being weak and getting weaker so this years $10,000 sale is not like last years $10,000 sale... :)

If on the other hand .uk is tanking, I am happy to be the mug that buys your names so drop me a line :)

Just wondering if www.domainprices.co.uk is fully up to date with May sales yet?

Quick analysis of Sedo driven sales suggests sales of around the 90-mark in both March and April but only 27 in May.

I myself was seing lots of activity until end of April myself, but since then things have been significantly quieter.

Stephen.

Not yet, I have quite a few more to add and will catch up soon, I'm glad someone noticed, makes the effort worthwhile :-)

Thanks - it's a very useful listing. Will be interesting to see the final total and track the trend over the next few months. Obviously there are sales outside of Sedo, but they must have a fair proportion of the worthwhile sales so hopefully tracking their progress gives some kind of market health indicator even if it's not perfect.

I have linked to domainprices.co.uk many times, an excellence resource.

I have spoken to several top generic portfolio holders today and the general consensus is that they're not interested in selling. Everyone wants to buy 'cream'. Check out Dan Warner's post here today. Dan has a stopover in London tomorrow and if anyone's free, I strongly recommend chatting with him.
