unlocking samsung mobile

does anyone here know how to unlock a samsumg sgh-600 mobile. it is currently locked to orange.

any help/advice much appreciated.

I will imagine there are cheaper options available.

You could also prob buy the cable from eBay and do it yourself.

Depends on the make / model as most they have on the systems themselves, ie. did a n95 the other day via vodafone and took 10mins for the email to come through.

£20 is the standard charge I think, saying that least you know it will work and have some come back if it doesnt rather than spending a tenner online

You selling the iphone chris? i'm torn between an archos and a ipodtouch but am also considering an i phone. Problem is I have a work mobile so dont need a contract for an iphone but want something for avi's and wifi.

phoned orange the robbing gits and ordered it, reliability is priority i suppose

Gonna hold on to the iphone a bit atleast till I see if this HTC does everything I need. Have to go everywhere with two smartphones and a netbook. Do need to slim down abit. :roll:

Just for reference nearly all the Samsungs can be done with an unlock clip costing about £7

You could just use a turbo sim,use any sim in almost any phone without unlocking.

I have a nokia n95 8gb which was on the 3 network and 3 phones are a fu**er to unlock and when you unlock them the firmware usually crashes.

My phone is now on 02 without unlocking,i can change to orange etc if i like ?

Also if you get another phone you can use the same turbo in another phone.

You would just need to upgrade the sim with latest software. If you buy the programmer you will be able to swap to other phones indefinitely. (£10)
