virgin media wireless modem/router

Had my existing cable modem for about 8 years now and bought a belkin wireless access point 4 years ago, the modem has had it i think now so looking to combine the 2 together.

Anyone have any recommendations at all?

Dave, phone virgin and tell them you want to cancel. They will give you some crap offer to stay but just keep declining it. In your months notice you will be contacted by their retention team.

They will offer a big price drop, extra speed and a free combine cable / wireless modem built in.

you can set the Virgin router to modem mode, this allows you to plug in your own router for your actual wireless signal.

Second Graemes suggestion.

I 'cancel' my sky subscription on a yearly basis and benefit from at least Movies or Sports free for 6 months everytime. Been doing that for 10+ years.
