Web based FTP client?

I can't use Filezilla as I'm working on a Chromebook at the moment. Can anyone recommend a web based FTP client? Or some sort of workaround?

There were a few but always were a pain to get setup in my experience does your host not have the basic facility built into the control panel.

Other than that will Linux versions of Filezilla run on chrome or even android apps I'm sure there's a few android ftp clients

Cheers Anthony, I saw that one earlier but the reviews basically say it doesn't work so I think I'll give it a miss. I'll keep on looking!

I used one once and was hacked straight after (using my ftp login details) - I would avoid all of them.

The recommended alternative for filezilla is apparently :

Although you wouldnt catch me using any kind of Web based platform to access any of my servers. Its like an open invitation for a compromised site imo.

If i was stuck between a rock and a hard place id probably setup a computer with TeamViewer and then have teamviewer or Similar on the chromebook to access the FTP on the main machine.

I thought I would have a play with Fresh Store Builder tonight but I've only got my Chromebook with me so I'll probably just leave it until I get home and use Filezilla.

I really enjoy using my Chromebook but the occasional thing I find infuriating!

One thing I did wonder was whether I could upload the files via Cpanel's file manager?

You should be able to, it has upload functions but not sure how well it would cope with anything with alot of files............im not even sure if it allows bulk upload, would be a tedious thing if it only allowed one file at a time lol

Assuming you Zip up the package shouldn't be a problem
