Hi, I'm using 19 pages templates and have noticed this in my source code at the top of each page......
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">

Would it be best to remove it? I don't know much about w3.org.

If I should remove it, what should I replace it with?

Many Thanks,
Ken

Dont remove it if you intend for your site to meet it. And don't leave it blank either, it's best to make sure that browsers have an indication of the standard set out below it.
