Nominet What is DAC IP address?

Hello all.

I'm a new tag holder and nominet account holder.

I'm trying to apply for DAC however I'm being asked for "Please provide the IP address you will use to connect to the DAC service from: - DAC IP address: "

Where/how do I find this?

Is this my home i.p address, my server i.p address?

Run the Command Prompt and type in "telnet dac.nic.uk 3043"

That'll tell you your IP address as it'll say "IP Address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx not registered, disconnecting". Type that address into Nom.

If you're not yet registered for the DAC service just leave it blank, as you can change it anytime you like via the interface.

Just an IP address of a machine you intend to connect to the DAC with. If you don't have a specific server in mind at the minute, just put any server in, you can configure it later on.
