What is the best way to transfer a .com.

I registered one for someone a while ago and now they want it in there name, but not sure as it is not a .co.uk under nominet.

Any ideas,

Regards,

Marcus

Once you have a .com within your control panel ac, e.g. at GoDaddy, I'm pretty sure you can just update the WHOIS details and change the legal registrant from there.

If you need to get the domain into their control panel at a different domain company, you need to initiate the transfer from your ac, then reply to a confirmation e-mail issued by ICANN. The .com transfers are totally electronic.

Hope this helps.

The best way is to get the other party to open an account at the same registrar the name is registered with.
You will then be able to 'push' the name into their new account. They accept the push. Transfer complete.

YOU will pay for a new 1 year reg.

THEY initiate the transfer from a registrar, YOU agree, ICANN is not involved. THEY pay.
