I sold the domain iflights.co.uk via SEDO auction back in September, it had 3 seperate bidders.

I was originally told by SEDO that they hadn't been able to contact the buyer and that they were going to cancel the transaction.

I was then told they had managed to contact the buyer and he claimed he had already paid and that they would look into it.

I asked on several occasions for the contact details of the buyer, I was told I could find it in my SEDO contract, however each time I looked the space for the buyer in the contract was blank.

I asked for contact details again yesterday and today the details appeared on the contract and I realised it was a member on this forum.

I have since contacted the buyer and they say they paid for the domain but withdrew the payment after chasing SEDO on many occasions regarding the sale.

I never received confirmation of payment or did my account show the payment had been received.

Anyone from SEDO care to comment on this.

I have a buyer who has submitted escrow request to Sedo on the 1st of December, with my details and his details in order to initiate it.

Guess what? Silence.

Looks like Sedo simply decided not to bother for their cut of £30 from a £1,000 sale. Obviously, when the next 5 figures sale comes, guess who will receive escrow cut? Bingo! It won't be Sedo.

Hello Slater,

Although I wasn't involved in that transfer, one look at it and who the 'buyer' was made it clear to me what happened here. I'm just about to send you a PM.

Regarding the details not coming up in your Sedo account - I've been contacted a few times with this problem recently for my own transfers, even though I know I clicked on the button to release them. There is a technical issue here that is beginning to get on my nerves as well, and I shall have it investigated. In the meantime, if the details don't come up should you have a similar situation again, please contact me or your transfer agent and we can send you the details by e-mail.

Hello Vizzy,

Please send me the details of what you wanted reading in, and also to which address the e-mail was sent, and I will sort this out for you.

Regards,

Shaun

Thanks for the update Shaun.

Apparently the buyer has now had his SEDO account suspended for other non-payment instances.
