Probably opening a can of worms again, but why would a domain that expired late January 2014 still have a status of "renewal required" and not "This registration has been SUSPENDED" at this stage?
 
I think it means a renewal request has been made but the tag involved doesn't have enough money in their account to cover it. Certain tags use this to make sure their domains don't drop but appear on all the droplists and radars (and hopefully get some interest).
 
Not sure this is the case here, it doesn't have a listed registrar?
